MOLECULAR GENETIC EVALUATION – UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT

A collaboration on medical marijuana research with CT Pharmaceutical Solutions LLC - Gerald Berkowitz and Peter ApicellaCTPharma has undertaken research directed at the cultivation process of cannabis as a medication.  Working with UConn, we are examining breeding and cultivation practices in order to create the best products on the market today. However, little is known about the gene expression levels of the enzymes that synthesize these cannabinoids. We are pretty pleased with the results from our most recent experiment with our flower. This work represents the first analysis of cannabinoid synthesis gene expression in the flower as it matures.
