Mark Kaczynski

As the Senior Manager of Security for CTPharma, Mark Kaczynski is responsible for the development and implementation of the security plan at the CTPharma facility and the secure transportation of CTPharma products to approved dispensaries. He also manages bank relationships, including operational consulting with relevant US Department of Justice and U.S. Department of Treasury guidance documents. Mark is also responsible for personnel and facility security, which includes the installation and operation of access control and video monitoring systems.
Prior to his current position, Mark was a supervisory special agent with the United States Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration for 30 years. He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and Pepperdine University School of Law.
Nicole Marek
SALES DIRECTOR - VERANO NORTH REGION
As the Sales Director for CTPharma and the Verano North Region, Nicole is in charge of dispensary relationships, physician and patient outreach, education, and business strategy. Nicole started her career at The Hartford where she spent 15 years working throughout most organizations from corporate to business lines in Marketing and Communications.
Nicole later joined the financial services and investment industry working as a CMO for two companies before moving to the medical marijuana industry at Arrow Alternative Care. She spent 2 years working in the dispensaries and with physicians in Connecticut. Nicole has her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Nichols College.
Steve Cancel
Sr. manager, wholesale marketing - VERANO NORTH REGION
Steve is a multidisciplinary Senior Manager of Wholesale Marketing with over 22 years of experience working for global brands and over 10 years in creative / design direction roles. He is in charge of all creative and marketing/branding for CTPharma including photography, campaign strategy, social media marketing, and packaging. He’s been on award-winning teams and has been fortunate to work with many exceptionally talented people on both the agency and client-side.
An NYC transplant, he was formally trained as an illustrator and designer at Parsons School of Design. Throughout his career he’s been involved in design and branding initiatives for clients large and small, including Edible Arrangements, working with Jay-Z at Rocawear, JP Morgan, British Airways, MetLife, 1OAK, and the Butter Restaurant Group among others.
Dr. Sali Barolli
CULTIVATION DIRECTOR - VERANO NORTH REGION
Dr. Barolli is a certified agronomist with 35 years of experience. He has a deep background in Integrated Plant Management and Plant Protection. B.S.-Agriculture; Major -Plant Protection Agronomist and PhD-Entomology, with significant and successful research experience and several published science reports/articles. His prior experience in large plant production settings, research institutions, management strategies, and strength in applied science has made him successful in his endeavors. Commitment and extensive agricultural experience, and nutrition management have allowed Sali to significantly master his plant care abilities.
Sali is a member of a number of research societies and has been deeply involved with the community in leadership positions. Sali is an avid traveler and gardener.
Lee Steel
sr. manager IT, - VERANO NORTH REGION
Lee Steel is the Senior Manager of IT with over 30 years of experience in the computer industry. He has a background in electromechanical and printed circuit board design. Lee began his professional computer support career when the first PC and Macintosh machines hit the market, providing custom configured computers for the United States Department of State.
Lee has supported small and large corporate networks and is involved in technology-related projects designed to keep CTPharma on the cutting edge.
Joel Amato
inventory SUPERVISOR
Joel is CTPharma's Inventory Manager He is responsible for tracking various levels of materials throughout the facility, from the germination of our crops, to the finished products being delivered to your local dispensaries. Maintaining the accuracy of our inventory is imperative to the operation's flow, maximizing product output, and guaranteeing customer satisfaction.
He has over 20 years experience managing staff and overseeing the flow of goods in the production industry, including a multitude of perishable, salvageable, and retail materials.
